A creative problem solver, Michael has spent his career passionately advocating clean, smart, and bold design for companies of all shapes, sizes, and budgets. With a broad client base, he has designed for many business sectors including technology, consulting, medical, legal, financial, entertainment, event, fashion, retail, and nonprofit. He believes that effective designs must be articulate, intelligent, versatile, cohesive, inspiring, and accessible.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University. While at Columbia, he started his design career after he received a prestigious departmental research grant to design and brand the School of the Arts theater seasons. Michael is also a graduate of New York City's Parsons School of Design design-certification program.

After almost twenty years running his design firm Mighty Design Studios, Michael took a full time role with his client, Silverline. At Silverline, Michael won multiple Core Value Awards for embodying the values of the organization and was promoted to Creative Director. As Creative Director, Michael paired with Silverline’s leaders and stakeholders in HR, technology, sales, and consulting to provide the visual and brand support needed to make Silverline the success that it became. Michael spent a combined nine years as a contractor and then-employee with Silverline until it was acquired by Mphasis in 2023 for over $132 million.

Michael lives in Honolulu, Hawaii, and when he’s not designing, exploring the islands, or swimming in the ocean, he can be found practicing ridiculously hot yoga at his favorite local studio.
